Business name: Junk Gentlemen (the "Company", "we", "us", "our").

1.2 What we do

We provide on‑site junk removal and hauling services for residential and commercial customers in Calgary and surrounding areas, including loading, transport, and responsible disposal, recycling, or donation, as applicable.

1.3 Acceptance of these Terms

By booking, confirming, or receiving any service; paying a deposit/invoice; or using our website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1.4 Quotes, pricing & estimates

  • Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and/or our on‑site assessment. Final price may change based on volume, weight, access, labour time, and special handling.
  • Prices generally include loading, hauling, and standard disposal fees. Extra charges may apply for: excessive sorting, stairs or long carries, overweight loads, after‑hours service, or items requiring special handling.
  • We reserve the right to re‑quote on site. If you decline the revised price after we arrive, a visit fee may apply to cover our costs.

1.5 Bookings, arrival windows & access

  • We offer arrival windows (e.g., 2–3 hours). Unexpected traffic, weather, or disposal facility delays may affect arrival. We'll communicate updates.
  • You must ensure safe access to items and adequate parking/loading space. Parking fees or tickets incurred due to lack of access may be added to your invoice.

1.6 Cancellations, rescheduling & wait time

  • Free reschedule if requested ≥24 hours before the appointment.
  • Late cancellation (<24 hours) or no‑show may incur a fee.
  • Wait time charges may apply after if we cannot begin due to access issues or preparation delays on site.

1.7 Prohibited & restricted items

We cannot accept certain items due to safety, regulatory, or facility rules (examples): hazardous chemicals, biological waste, pressurized tanks, explosives, asbestos, oil/paint not accepted by facilities, fuels/solvents, and any item prohibited by law. Batteries, electronics, tires, appliances with refrigerants, and construction debris may require extra fees or special handling. Ask us in advance.

1.8 Disposal, recycling & donations

We endeavour to dispose of materials responsibly through licensed facilities, recycling partners, and charitable organizations where feasible. However, final disposition depends on item condition, facility guidelines, and operational constraints, and is at our reasonable discretion.

1.9 Site condition, photos & consent

  • You represent that you have the authority to remove all items indicated.
  • You agree that our team may take before/after photos for job documentation, safety, quality control, and (with your consent) marketing. See Privacy Policy for details.

1.10 Customer responsibilities

  • Identify any fragile, high‑value, or specialty items before loading.
  • Secure pets; clear pathways; disclose hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with building rules (elevators, loading docks) and obtain any necessary permissions.

1.11 Payment terms

  • Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion on site.

1.12 Damage & limitations

  • We take care to prevent damage. You must disclose conditions that could increase risk (e.g., weak stairs, narrow halls).
  • Our liability for direct physical damage proven to be caused by our negligence is limited to the repair cost or fair market value of the affected area/item, whichever is less.
  • We are not liable for pre‑existing damage, latent defects, normal wear/tear, consequential or indirect losses, lost profits, or delays beyond our control (force majeure).

1.13 Insurance & licensing
